16 DaySit
- Granny will occasionally DaySit for clients who require a few hours pet free between 8.30am and 3.00pm. The cost is $15 per hour for personalised pet sitting. Care is booked by the day (Extended) or half day (Basic). Extended care is between one and seven hours. Basic care is between one and four hours. Please note that hours are not interchangeable.
- DaySit's should be booked in advance as bookings cannot overlap. Granny does not accept more than one client at a time.
- A booking date is not considered set until a deposit is received. Bookings should be made in advance to ensure availability.
- Bookings must be paid on hand-over or in advance via a booking. Cancellation of a DaySit service must be within the first 24 hours of booking to receive a full refund. A cancelled service can be transferred to a new DaySit with the new booking to be used within 6 months.
- Clients are advised to bring their pet’s favourite comforter or toy to help with anxiety at being left behind. Some pets may need anxiety medication to enable a successful DaySit. Medication should be administered before arrival. Very anxious or nervous dogs are not suited to quiet time with Granny and may result in an early collection request.
- Large dogs are typically not suitable for DaySit unless restrained safely under Granny's care before leaving. Dogs that are jumpers or serious diggers are not considered suitable for DaySit. Small dogs such as Chihuahua's must be tethered before leaving, this for their own protection. Granny will not pen dogs unless absolutely necessary. Granny will accept all elderly dogs.
- Clients are invited to inspect the boundaries to determine them escape proof. A signed Services Agreement evaluates the pet to be in safe surroundings. Granny takes no responsibility for pets that break out.
- Pets must be collected by 3.00 pm. If the pet has not been collected by 4.00 pm and the client is not within reach, Granny will term the pet to be abandoned and will organise for it to be collected by the Ranger. Pets held beyond collection time will attract a $20 after-hours fee. Pets will not be held outside stated hours of business or overnight under any circumstances.
